What a Great Day

Awoke to my third child smiling from ear to ear with a, “Good morning Momma.” Spent an hour sipping coffee while on a Twitter chat, #NT2t, for New Teachers 2 Twitter.  This chat was so much help when I first started on Twitter and even a year later I check in on Saturday mornings at 9AM EST to continue to learn and connect.

It was already so nice out, 60 degrees with a cool breeze and warm sun, that we all went out to work in the yard. My son helped mow the grass, I pulled weeds from my numerous flower beds, the younger two jumped on the trampoline, and the oldest stayed inside to make muffins and banana nut bread. When the mowing was done and the pulling weeds turned into piggy back rides, we all went in for a muffin-banana-nut-bread break.

Back outside to finish up some yard work before trampoline acrobatics and playground fun. Just in time to head back in for shredded chicken tacos which I placed in the crockpot right before my morning Twitter chat.  Can’t believe what a great day and all before lunch.

After lunch…more play time, rest time, blog time and planning for the rest of the day.
