Leprechaun Visit

My babies awoke on St. Patrick’s Day ready to wear their green.  But what they didn’t know was that a leprechaun had come to visit.  He brought a pot of goodies with him.  First time in a while all 4 kiddos climbed out of bed without groaning and moaning.  Our leprechaun brought a pot of green candies (including chocolate coins), 4 leaf clover coins, green beads, and St. Patty’s Day bracelets.  They all ate a couple pieces of candy, put on their green shirts and jewelry and headed to a day of no pinches at school.

  1. So fun! Growing up, my mom always had a treat waiting at my place at the breakfast table for every small holiday (Halloween, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day…) and I’ve always planned to do that, but I love the added twist of a leprechaun leaving a pot! So cute! Might have to steal this idea next year when my baby’s old enough to kind of understand!

  2. Very fun. I know one of the classrooms I work with was visited by the leprechaun…he wasn’t quite as “nice” as your leprechaun seemed to be!
